Casting Tolerances

Our investment casting process achieves CT5-CT7 linear tolerances per ISO 8062. Machined surfaces can be held to much tighter tolerances.

  • Linear tolerance: CT5-CT7 (ISO 8062)
  • Machined tolerance: ±0.02 mm
  • Surface finish (as-cast): Ra 3.2-6.3 μm
  • Surface finish (machined): Ra 0.8-3.2 μm
  • Flatness: 0.1 mm per 100 mm
  • Angular tolerance: ±0.5°
