WCB / LCB Carbon Steel
WCB is the most widely specified carbon steel casting grade for valve and fitting applications. LCB provides equivalent properties with guaranteed low-temperature impact toughness down to -46°C, making it suitable for cold-climate and cryogenic installations.
- WCB: General purpose, -29°C to 425°C
- LCB: Low temperature, -46°C to 340°C
- WCC: Higher strength variant of WCB
- Good weldability and machinability
