CF8 / CF8M Stainless Steel
CF8 (equivalent to 304) and CF8M (equivalent to 316) are the most commonly specified austenitic stainless steel casting grades. CF8M contains 2-3% molybdenum, which provides superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
